Revd Jean Radley

The Revd Jean Radley
   Assistant Priest
I was licensed as a Reader in 1975 and was ordained in 2000, 46 years after I first heard God’s call to the priesthood! I have three children and four grandchildren. My son Stephen is a chaplain with the Royal Air Force. My elder daughter Rebecca is the District Development Enabler in the Methodist Church for Cumbria and the Isle of Man. My younger daughter Ruth is a Mission Partner working with the Church Mission Society in Southern Sudan. I’m a nurse, and despite my advanced years I do still practice as a relief Practice Nurse at the James Cochrane Surgeries! I’m sub-warden of Readers in the Kendal Deanery and a member of the Diocesan Healing Ministry Resource Group. I recently stepped down as Spiritual Director of Cumbria Cursillo, but am still the training and development co-ordinator for the British Anglican Cursillo Council. Cursillo is my encouragement and my support. I am passionate to see God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
