Progress on the Coronation Hall

Many of you will have seen the "bobcat" going in & out of the Hall and the concrete wagons lined up since its closure on 5th February. I am now reliably informed that work is going really well.
In the main hall, the walls have been insulated, and a new ceiling is in place, and all has been plastered out. A large door leading from the main room into the supper room is in place and the builders are currently working in the supper room, insulating the walls and plastering them.
The underfloor heating is scheduled to start on the 19th March. New windows have been made ready to go in shortly.
Phase II
We are currently waiting to hear whether a large grant application has been successful. If it has we will be able to carry straight on with Phase II which involves a revamp of the toilets and a new storage area. Fingers crossed!!
Most monies promised have been received, except those which have to be claimed on completion of work.
