OUTDOOR SERVICE

It was not possible to hold the annual "Outdoor Service" outside the church this year, owing to the unsettled weather. Everything was in place on verandah of the Village Hall when the rain started, within minutes of the scheduled start time. Everything was moved indoors and Liz Dawes led the worship. Visiting priests from Baltimore, Maryland, USA Reverends Tom and Cherie Baker and Herb Lodder, together with members of Herb's family attended.
The service was followed by a Ploughman's Lunch which raised a total of £217.85 for Church funds.
