Tour - Lady Chapel

Whilst generally called the 'Lady Chapel', it has not actually been dedicated as such. It is used for quiet prayer and also for small services, especially during the winter months when it is easier to heat than the main Church! There is a small holy table as well as an icon of St George and a wall hanging created by a local weaver, Susan Foster.   View of Lady Chapel

This is a very versatile area of the Church being used, apart from as a chapel, for displays, exhibitions, a creche during Parish Communion and a registration point when +CPC+ conferences are being held.

The Stations of the Cross are also sometimes housed here when other displays are mounted on the walls of the Nave.

We can now go through the double doors leading into the Nave of the Church.
