Silver Jubilee Celebration June 7 1977

It was decided to mark this event in suitable ways.

A committee was formed and funds were raised to provide a tea for parishioners together with entertainment and presentations of Jubilee Crowns and plates to the children of the parish.

Three hundred and fifty people, including 118 children, attended the event.

A commemorative plaque was built into the wall of the car park.
