Skelsmergh Parish Room

On October 5 1895 a 295 square yard plot to be used as a site for a Parish Room was conveyed from W.W.B. Hulton of Hulton Park, Bolton-le-Moors and Mr R. M. Greenwood of Kendal to the Carlisle Diocesan Board of Finance. The site was originally part of the Skelsmergh Hall Estate.

A further piece of land was added on February 18 1931 and an extension was built on May 6 1931 to provide cloakrooms.
